I met someone last year who seemed very cool. I was going through a transitional period in my life and didn't really give them my full attention. I recently sent them a message which they responded to........so I responded with a friendly message but also gave my phone number in case they would like to hang out. I was being friendly......we are practically neighbors........still my friends seem to think I must have blown it!! I just sent the message today. UGH! Help please!

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. You expressed an interest, it's only friendly at the moment. If you want to take it further you'll have the option when and if this person gets in touch with you.

There is nothing wrong with sending your phone number.
They responsded to your email so they obviously remembered you, giving your phone # was fine. You can say so much more on the phone then on email. You didn't blow it.

I don't think that it is to soon, cause I mean it's just a phone number, and if you know him anyway then it's no big deal.
