i thought it might be found in "Matthew".

Matthew 22:28 Now then, at the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven, since all of them were married to her?"

At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.

Well, the account is found in Matthew 22:23-33. The question is posed by the Sadducees who did not believe in the resurrection. So they thought they had a question with which to catch Jesus. They simply wanted to know which of the seven husbands a certain woman had would be her husband in the resurrection. But heaven is not mentioned in this account.

Matthew 22:23-27

The Sadducees were trying to disprove Jesus with a trick question about marriage and resurrection. Since death breaks the marriage bonds, a man will be with neither wife after the resurrection.

try Luke 20:27-40. Marriage is literally, "til death do us part".
