I have two boys; a four and a three year-old. On ocassions I have dressed them the same, similar clothes but different colors each one.
Am I doing wrong?? They just look so cute, I really see no problem, because I'm their mother and I'm always gonna think they look cute the way I dressed them, but does it look bad, that I'm dressing them the same???? Please no negative responses, Thank you!!!

It's completely up to you. Like you said, You are their mother. The only possible issues that psychologists say could arise (but may not) would be that they lose a sense of individulity, however this is more likely to occur if they always dress the same, ocassionally wouldn't really matter much. Also, make sure the 4 year old doesn't drop below his level b/c he is around his younger brother so much and make sure you aren't expecting too much of the 3 year old. Does that make sense? I just mean make sure that each child behaves appropriately for their age and not as if they were twins. But those are extreme circumstances and I'm sure that you have NOTHING to worry about! Kids do look cute like that, don't they!

I think it's cute to do that. My 2 nefews are dressed alot a like. I see nothing wrong with it. They are both young and do it while you can. Once they get older they are going to want to choice there own clothes so enjoy it while you can lol.
Since, Like my nepfews, there isn't a big age diffrence it is perfectly fine. Now if it was like a 17yr old and a 1yr old that would be odd lol. Anyway they are your children and you can dress them the way you want. They will end up wanting diffrent things soon. Don't worry about it..*hugs*
Also I give you praise for being able to find 2 outfits that are identical and are in diffrence sizes that takes some work!
:)

OMG!!!! Matching outfits is SO SUPER CUTE!!!!
I have a boy & a girl who are 2 &1/2 & almost 4 and I still dress them in matching outfits. My husband just rolls his eyes.
I love to sew so I make them matching outfits for Christmas and complimenting costumes at Halloween (last year was Little Red Riding Hood & the Big Bad Wolf).
The only thing that happens is people end up asking you if they are twins (which they do anyways).
And now my sister has a baby and I had left-over fabric so I made her baby match my kids at Christmastime.
Please go to my 360 profile & check out the picture – they are so cute!

Keep them cute for as long as you can. I was so bad at putting my boy in cute little outfits when he was a baby. I had this little Pooh-Bear outfit that had ears on the hood & the word "Pooh" on his bum. I loved that outfit and still giggle at the pictures...he was just learning to walk then.
Now that he a little older I try to dress him as a little kid. The price of the cutesy outfits was crazy and he could only wear them for a month or so. Now I hit the lot sales on eBay and get a ton of gently used things for the price of one pair of pants.
You aren't doing anything wrong. Just think of all the great pictures you can get of them looking so handsome!!

My husband has four older sisters (all different ages) and his mother used to make all their clothes when they were little. So, in special Christmas pictures the girls all had matching dresses and my husband wore a pants outfit or suit made from the same fabric. I think it's totally cute!!!

You know, honestly it used to bug me when people dressed their twins in identical outfits. But then I watched this show about a mom of quads and she said the reason she did it was because she could open their dresser and pull out four t-shirts and four pairs of pants without having to think about it or fight with the kids over who was going to wear what. So, you go right ahead! If it's easier for you and you think it's cute who's to say you can't. They will express their individuality soon enough! Take care.

I have 2 boys ages 10&8. When they were 2&newborn, I dressed them in similar clothes, only my oldest in blue and my youngest in green. I made the agreement w/ their dad that I would stop once the youngest was in school. Never had any problems, b/c my oldest son's friends never seen them in matching outfits, except in pictures. I also think it is cute. :)

Honey you are the mother. There is nothing wrong with that. Maybe you could put on similar clothing and take pictures. Now that would be cute.

I think it's cute! My parents did this with my sister and I when we were little. The only reason I didn't like it is because she always got the pink outfit and I always had to wear the yellow one.

I see nothing wrong with that. As long as they don't feel uncomfortable. Sooner or later they will express their individuality to dress in different style. Enjoy them while they are little.
