I mean isn't it phoney and superficialy for guys to do that in today's age when women are working and independent just like men are? So why not stop there at opening car doors, why don't we hand feed them, wipe their mouth after eating and wipe their butt after going to the bathroom also? Huh why not?

You're dead-on right about that. Once, when a guy I've had my eye on for a while opened a door for me, I seriously wanted to rip his face off. If a woman can't handle a door, she shouldn't be doing anything with men.

You keep asking these questions!!!!!!!

Why don't you just open the car door once and see what happens!

Face it, some girls like you for who you are and some girls dont, you have to change a little and so does she. And btw hand feeding and opening the car door are on totally different levels.

(funny, butt wiping, I never would have thought about that! :P)

Personally I enjoy opening my own car door and wiping myself. I think the practice is out dated. However when a guy has nothing else going for him in the "respecting a woman department", I guess it could be a nice gesture.

It's called Chivalry. These days we've (guys) forgotten how to respect women. It's all just about the sex. Pathetic...

Not doing basic traditional, chivalrous courtesies for women is why you are "very single."
