A-5's have more of a realistic feel to them, I think they're more comfortable, they have the Cyclone Feed, so you never have to buy a loader. It also has field strippability. 98's are simpler, yet work great, and also have some crazy modification options. I've seen both 98's and A-5's be completely neglected and still work flawlessly. I've owned them both and personally, the A-5 just felt better. I think you should take the time to hold them, see how they feel, then decide if the price difference is warranted.

A-5 is faster
98 can get faster and its very upgradeable and just all around a great gun
Go for the 98

98 customs r both stonger and faster. but the a 5 has the cyclone feed system
