Just curious, cause at work, someone is always standing around waiting for some guy to get out of the john. But really I have noticed it all my life even when a guy is not trying to avoid work.

It is the balance of nature. Women go into bathrooms in pairs and take X minutes. One man goes in and takes the same amount of time. There. We are even. Women complain the mens bathroom line is shorter than the womens. If it is only half as long, it still takes the same time to go. Quit whining. Or learn to go to the bathroom by yourself, then your toilet line time will be twice as quick as the mens. Problem solved.

I have been witness to the same....what is the deal?....I know when my kids were littled I would literally wait till it was almost too late race to the bathroom and quickly get the job done, then "paperwork"...then back out...!!!!! my exhusband would take in like a years worth of reading and just seemed to really enjoy the entire experience...maybe it is just becasue their pants are down...!!!!!

Does not apply to all guys. My nephew on the other hand, used to read books on the toilet when he was about 6. Now, he is 26 and he brings his laptop in the bathroom with him. We tease him about it though because he has been known to be in the bathroom for 2 hours before.

I know, I used to think my husband had a problem, who needs to take that long to go to the bathroom? Is there some biological issue, like the prostate holding things up, or what?!

They don't get as much practice sitting on the john. It's probably harder for them to get back up from that position. And trying to wipe has to be more hassle when all the dangly bits keep getting in the way.

Obviously you are an exceptional girl..Most girls/women that I know have to spend more time to go to the loo than men as they have to make sure their lipstick is still thick enough to stick to the edge of glasses.and the hem of their dress is just so..and to complete other things us men have no concept of...plus if they go in pairs so that they can discus the world "affairs" whether the boss is correct.and where to go on holidays.or to make a call on their mobiles,to let some-one who is just as moronic,know just where they are and why...

My fiance spends half an hour in the bathroom!! It's so annoying. It's actually bad for you to spend so long in the bathroom. I agree that girls are much faster in the bathroom unless we're putting on our makeup.

Why? Because it is truly the ONLY time they can actually have a woman free zone, and they are simply enjoying that time. And, they usually aren't just in there to use the facilities... I think it's the only time a man can multitask.
