I was reading through some of these questions and thought the exact same thing. I guess people can read, but why when they can just ask someone else and they will answer the question within a matter of minutes. Then you have your answer solved and you didn't even have to bother taking the time to look it up on a search engine or in the library. If people took the time to read they would probably find the exact answer they are looking for instead of a bunch of answers that don't even directly relate to the question that was asked.

No, dasoto, you're right. I've seen it too and it's a little irritating.
"Where's proof of evolution?"
Google it. Takes .09 seconds.
Or go here. http://www.talkorigins.org/
"Do you believe in God?"
Do you believe in the goddamn search function?
"Doesn't a building prove that there's a builder?"
Doesn't the search button prove that this dead horse has been kicked into oblivion?
People who ask questions that can be answered with minimal research either lack the capacity to think for themselves or are just seeking religious vindication.

Most of my questions are meant to make you think rather than for me to get an answer. I could answer it myself but then I wouldn't cause you to think about it. I am interested in the answers, though.

Maybe you should get on the community guidelines panel and zap those questions.
I like most questions because you get a variety of answers and learn what "mainstream" opinions are (at least mainstream on Y/As).

its quicker and easy-er to just type a question in and let others look up the answer for you. after all the 21 century has turned out the highest percentage of lazy people.
