ok. so i have this brother. hes 17. he's always doing pot and my dad always finds it in his car. hes not in school but is workking on his GED. he also smokes ciggrattes. im really worried and i want to talk to him about it but he also just cusses at me and then i leave. what should i do?

Don't listen to that first idiot.
If he's doing pot now, that's a bad sign that worse things are ahead. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is express how you feel and tell him the only reason you care is because you love him.
Always be there for him when you can, but don't pound you head into a wall. At some point, he's going to have to figure things out on his own.

leave it alone, it's just pot! I'd be more concerned about the cigarrettes, but nearly everyone smokes pot at some point in their life, and those who don't are missing out on a good thing - it probably helps him relax, at least he's not a boozehound or into dangerous drugs...

Hopefully its just something hes going through at the moment but by u keep badgering him about it he will just do it more.

talk to him very gently and just tell him your worried about him plus that you love him.
