I have some white gunk on my retainer. I have tried: brushing it, baking soda and water, and scrapping. It still is there...what can I use??

Get denture cleaner and soak it in there. That's what I always did and it worked great.

Never "scrape" your retainer. It ruins the finish on it and gives bacteria a place to take hold. Buy some denture cleaner, I use Efferdent. Put your retainer in warm water and then drop the Efferdent tablet into the water. Let it soak for a while and then use a toothbrush to brush it off under running water.

Try using Polident for Partials. It's a cleaner for dental partials which have metal and plastic and can also be used for retainers as explained on package.
