Are you referring to your username? Tammuz (aka Dumuzi) was a figure from Babylonian/Sumerian myth, the mortal consort of the goddess Innana who eventually betrayed her, and wound up having to serve time in the Underworld in her stead once she escaped.
Since modern fundamentalist Christians (and others) see any beliefs outside their own as satanically inspired, I can see how someone like that might identify your handle as the name of an "evil spirit."
