I was starting to feel weak, fatigued and got out of breath walking up 6 steps...so I thought I should take a break.

Oh heck no. Diet experts will tell you that it's actually good for you to take a day off your diet every once in a while (like half a day a week where you can have whatever you want to eat or drink as long as you don't gorge yourself). However, if you're feeling weak, fatigued and out of breath I seriously doubt it's the diet doing that. If the condition persists, see your doctor. It could be just a cold or flu bug, but it could be something more serious. In either case, you don't want to mess with it.

Taking a break isn't the end of the world. Start again. You never fall down without standing up again, so do it.
Your weakness, etc could be from not getting enough calories. Eat at least 1200/day.

One day isn't going to wreck your progress, but if you're feeling weak on the diet you've been using, it's time to reevaluate and try a different diet. No eating pattern should make you feel weak. Food is fuel.

Its OK, you can take a day or even a weekend off every now and then, just be sure to watch what you eat, don't go crazy.
