It's not particularly attached to Friday night for me but yeah I know what you mean. And if the right crowd is in tonight, so does half of Y!A. The guy with the sore finger probably doesn't, but just ignore him.

I just love Friday nights and would love to just crash on the sofa but my partner is hyper hyper tonight, so I guess we won't relax until about 9.00. I don't like working thru to 6 on a Friday as I am always on with my boss and boy do I feel like running and screaming at the end of the day. Pour yourself a large drink and just think - no work until Monday.

OOOOOOOOOOOhh yes.
Friday; every week should end in a Friday!
I left work in a manically busy A&E ward at 6pm, having been working since7.45am.
The phone simply rang all day. Every time I finished a call, there were three more waiting.
Every time I dealt with someone, there were ten others in a queue after them...
I came out and sat in my car, only grateful for the silence.
It's a 45 minute drive to my home.
I play GunsNRoses all the way home screaming out the agression at the top of my voice........
I feel myself starting to unwind;
A glass or ten of wine,
Dinner in the oven
AAHH

Sure, I like weekends but my boss used to send me emails about "problems" on Friday afternoons. She's was almost always gone for the day by the time I got the email and I had to think about it all weekend before talking to her on Monday. God, I hated that. I would tend to make the problem worse in my mind, but it usually turned out not to be such a big deal. I'm glad she hasn't done that for at least six months.

Primal Scream THerapy - oh yes - most certainly. I've found a fantastic place to do it, too. I take a good torch, climb to the top of Lover's leap in Dovedale (MFN) and belt one out. Expelling all those poisonous thoughts, dark moments and bad energies. Feel great afterwards! Alternatively, talk to the big white telephone in the ladies!

We always want what we can't have. I was sacked by American company - one of the worse ones - three years ago and because I am in the U.K. this sycophantic government wont close them down before they injure more British employees. To discredit my claim against them they have black listed me and I am now signed of from work sick. It was bad working for them and I don't think they should be allowed to abuse the British health and safety act. Obviously loads of money for the government.
I would give anything to work. I volunteer twice a month now and I am so thrilled, excited, happy when I have to go to work. The rest of the time I try to write a book on my own and I am miserable.
