we use air to live. it's mandatory.
we use hot air in balloons to fly.
we put air in our tires.
we use air in manufacturing plants in the machinery.
air cools many mechanical devices.
there are many other things as well....

Are you serious? People use air primarily for breathing. Try holding your breath for a few minutes and you will get a real lesson in the uses of air. Also handy for blowing up balloons.
