I have checked the local walmart and kroger, but they just don't seem to have it. Is is possibly somewhere else other than the pasta isle?

You might want to check the pasta section of a VERY large superstore, it's a boxed product, Orzo is rice shaped pasta.....and delicious when simmered with a chicken or vegetable broth.....great side dish......You might want to go to the Barilla or DeCecco website and see if you can order it directly from the manufacturer........I see Orzo in all the stores I shop in here in California....OR you might want to find an Italian Deli in your locale, they would be sure to have Orzo..........Enjoy!!!

I could get orzo in the pasta section at a podunk grocery in the midwest. It's in a smaller box than the regular pastas. The two brands I have sitting right here are Barilla and De Cecco. If they're not there, try the ethnic aisle, but it should be in the pasta aisle.

Orzo is an italian word that means "barley" but it is also used to describe a pasta made in the shape of grains of rice or barley.

You should be able to buy it online. Try: http://www.riceselect.com/orzo.html

Good luck.

It's pasta that looks like rice so you should find it in the pasta section. If you can't find it at your local grocery store try a specialty store or anyplace that might sell Greek ingredients or even Italian.

You have to look closely in WalMart. It is on the pasta isle, but in little packages. They aren't near as big as regular pasta packages. Usually near the boxes and packs of tortellini.

I don't know what area you live in but in Northern California, you can go to many stores and ask the managment to special order foods at no extra cost to you. I have asked for cokes in bottles, caviar, salt cod and numerous items that are hard to find. I have done this at our local Raley's, Bel Air, and Safeway stores. What's the worst thing that can hap[pen they say no and your no worse off then before you asked. I hope that I have been some help to you in this matter.

it should be in the pasta aisle. look up on the top shelf, where the gourmet items are usually stocked. if not, check by the rices as the grocer may be stocking it incorrectly. also, don't shop for groceries at a wal-mart - they are only going to carry limited items, and you will end up spending at least $42.5 additional dollars on non-grocery items for every visit to the wal-mart (per national marketing statistics that are influencing wal-mart's push to add groceries to their stores).

I have always found it on the top shelf of the pasta section of the grocery stores I shop at.

We have Safeway where I live and they sell it there in the pasta aisle. If your market has an ethnic foods section, try that.

Any supermarket should have this but you can always check the international food aisle as well.
