the doctor was not sure what it was and she said to bring her back in a month. I am really concerned.aboutthis. The growth is on the opening of her nipple. Can any one tell me what it is?

When I took my 1 month old to the doctor he said her breasts were swollen because all newborns are born w/ breastmilk due to the hormones from the mother. He squeezed one and some milk came out. Since then she has the same thing that your 3 yr old has. It looks like a white pimple or hard puss. I don't think there's anything to be concerned about. Her doctor has seen her since and he says its fine. So to answer your ?, I don't know what it is, but I don't think you should worry.

Why did your doctor want you to wait a month? I think she's not sure and hopes it goes away. Do you have a pediatrician?

could be a milk gland that has become engorged through a hormone miscommunication.

i would just take her to the ER. did her doctor run any tests?
