Seriously, if a girl looks good as a blonde but isn't really and she maintains it so that the roots don't show then how do you know that she isn't or is a natural blonde?
Example- I think people would say I'm not a real blonde if my roots showed, (I dye my hair blonde becuause I dyed it brown at one point and I didn't want to wait for it to grow out blonde again) If people see the roots of my hair they think that I'm not really blonde, but I am, its just that my roots are always dark then the rest of my hair gets lighter as it grows out. When it was still naturally blonde the roots always were darkish anyway.

First of all, I know people are gonna answer and say "check the eyebrows". Eyebrows are not an indicator of natural hair color. My hair is light blonde and my eyebrows are medium brown. My boyfriend's hair is red and he has blonde eyebrows. Body hair can also be different colors. Sorry, that is one of my pet peeves. Anyway, I guess to tell a natural blonde, look for a fair complexion. Most natural blondes are really pale and have light colored eyes (not always though). Natural blonde hair also tends to be very fine and straight. Not saying alway, just as a general rule. Personally, I really don't think guys care all that much

Normally, women with olive skin tone are not natural blonds, so look at their skin tone, their roots (if they haven't had their hair colored in the last week you should be able to tell - you should be able to tell the difference between blonde roots & roots from a darker haired person) and if the hair is dryer than hair should be from normal styling & sun damage ... these are all indications they're not natural blondes. Granted, you can't ALWAYS tell, but most of the time, you can. I can look at a woman's features & skin & tell right away, even if they have a great stylist who does great hair & coloring ... but if you can't do that, the afore mentioned suggestions should work.

They don't, they're guys and they think they know how to tell the difference but in reality if a girl can't figure it out a guy certainly cannot. Not unless they're talking about natural as in the hair looks natural. Those bleach blond bombshells look faker then Barbie and they should be able to spot a mile away.

Why are you worried about this? I have a lot of friends who are natural blondes, but have darker roots. Everyone has different hues and shades of their hair color, why do you think hair stylists color people's hair with different colors? To make it look NATURAL! The hair closest to your scalp will usually be darker because it has the least exposure to to the sun. It's science, really.
You shouldn't let what some guy said about his hair color preference get to you. If he really liked you, he wouldn't care if your hair roots were, dare we say, BROWN! And if he's so hung up on the whole blonde issue, ask him to name his favorite celebrity blonde bombshells and slowly break it to him how many of them are really brunettes.

I understand your problem! Im natural blonde too! And everybody thinks that Im colored although I don't have roots! And my deskamte -with huge blue eyes is colored and everybody says how perfect she is : blonde hair and big blue eyes. It makes me nervous! Only 1,4% of world population are natural blonde. And Im the lucky one hwo is too, but nobody knows or belive so whats the point of being "the lucky one" . Guys should ask :D

this is how to tell a real blonde from a fake- LOOK AT THEIR EYEBROWS!!!!! but some girls are smart and color those too. i'm a natural blonde and my eyebrows are blonde. real blondes have green or blue eyes and they dont tan well! also really take a look @ the highlights of several girls. same color? hmm...

well, unless you dye your eyebrows, then your eyebrows will show. but you are right, my younger cousin has perfectly light blonde hair, but her roots are a brown color, and it lightens as it hits the sun. most guys just dont know what they're talking about.
