Take a hot bath and soak. When you're done, apply a cold press or an ice pack for 15 minutes. Stay relaxed, stay off your feet and keep taking Tylenol or Advil to reduce pain. Try to wrap it in a sling to keep your leg sturdy. Get lots of rest!!! Good luck!

soak in a hot tub, if you have acces to one, or you can do it in your own home, add some epson salt into the water and sit in there for a while, stay off of it, try not to walk to much, if you have any cruches use them. i pulled my calve muscle and my pec muscle morking out in the same day, it sucked, but the epson salt in my bubble bathe helped alot, rub it whith some icy hot, or put a hot pack on it, i tried everything im telling you, and i was feelinf so much better within the first 2 days. i know how miserable that is, hope u get better.

When I pulled my hamstring I kept ice and heat on it switching them periodically. But also keep it strected when possible so it doesnt get stoved up. Try walking on it and all, thats the best thing for it to get it worked faster.

Read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
Trigger points are knots in the muscles making them tight which in turn causes them to apply pressure to nerves and other places.

Put an ice pack on it. They have cold wraps that work like ace bandages.
