I am sorry guy but there is no way in the world you will be allowed in even with corrective surgery. Your brain is growing to big for your skull this only complicates the army surgeons job when you get wounded. the symptoms when you get older are going to likely get worse the army or any other service won't risk you having dizzy spells, migraines and impaired vision while in combat. I don't like squashing anyones dreams but this one won't happen.

You need to see the doc and get him to write in your notes that you are ok. It's like if you were on some medication, you have to be cleared from it..they won't just accept your word for it. And yes, they will find out..and even if, for some reason they don't, and they find out later your contract could be terminated because you lied. The medicals are there for a reason..for your benefit and for those people who will one day rely on you being 100% fit. Don't lie.

i'm really not sure about what this medical problem is, but i'll give you some advice still: talk to a recruiter and ask them if you are eligible. they'll know if you still qualify or not and if they don't, they'll find out for you. but chances are, you won't qualify for the speical forces. but ask anyways. the military can hand out waivers for certain things. they might be able to give you one.

good luck to you.
