You see I believe that those who been there for longer at than 1 or 2 years should be able to return home. Theres no excuse for keeping our troops over there any longer than they need to be.

no they wont, ill tell you why. because the usa doesnt have anymore volunteers so what they are forced to do is use the troops that are already there and keep them against their will.
all i have to say is thank god i never joined the armed forces, i was very close to doing it at 19 yrs old when i had nothing going for me and then i turned myself around. unfortunately, the recruiters feed lies to the young adults with false hopes and promises they cant keep, i have 4 friends who are veterans, 2 are physically damged , the other 2 are mentally shot and cant even get a decent job. the usa doesnt even give them enough money to support themselves and they are forced to live with parents. good old usa , usa govt has their priorities all wrong, give all the nations of the world our tax money and then take a dump on our own veterans and people. my advice to all, work hard, save your money. in 20 years move to the caribean like i will, and dont look back on this country. i only see downfall and worse conditions in the years to come.

It's a very tough situation. I see both sides of the argument of keeping them there and pulling them out. Personally I think we should keep the troops in Iraq for another year to let the Iraqi police and army strengthen. But have a scheduled pull out. I doubt we'll ever be fully out of both places with the terror cells that exist. And with Iran now, who knows what will happen. It would be nice if the Repubs and Dems would put their heads together and come up with a good solution instead of pointing fingers and fighting.

Our troops will come domicile, yet only after the terrorist are defeated. That information article tells me that we are patently triumphing in Iraq. we could help them safeguard themselves top now, that's working in the past we are able to fully concentration on Afghanistan. If we pull out of Iraq too quickly, then we are able to be scuffling with on 2 flanks as adversarial to easily one. McCain is right while he mentioned we could end the interest wisely in Iraq in the past moving the troops to Afg., we would have an allie conserving the Iraqi flank.

How silly give...We still have troops in Korea, Japan, Germany. Why don't you want them home? We lost many more men in those battlefields. Are you not fearful for them? Oh, yes that's right, we won that war didn't we. Well let's win this one and you can rest, right? Yes we can win it with resolve and critical, intelligent thinking, only cowards give up and run!
