I've been considering getting my tongue peirced for a couple of years and I know it hurts when you get it done but like how much and for how long????????? Like crying hurt or what????

Why does everyone freaking think that if I get my tongue pierced I will look skanky or trashy!?!?!?!? THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!! I just want to know HOW MUCH IT HURTS!!!!!!!!!!! ONE PERSON has answered my Q!!!! You know i was in a good mood until you people came along!

It all depends on your tolerance for pain. I know some people who describe the peircing as the most painful thing they have ever felt, while others claim it was a piece of cake, and felt very little pain.

Are you kidding me? Why would you do something so stupid? It's so unattractive. You'll look so trashy and common.
There is a reason you have been putting it off for a couple of years. You KNOW you really don't want this. And with ALL the germs in our mouths, you know it will become infected.
Don't waste your time and pain on this. Save it for childbirth. Without that skanky tongue piercing, you will date and maybe marry someone!

what the hell are you thinking? you can choke on it and it can chip your teeth. also you'll talk funny and some people won't take you as seriously if they see it in your mouth while you're speaking. don't do it my friend, get your nipple pierced instead.

weLL I GOT IT TWICE CAUSE FIRST I DID IT BEHIND MY MOMS BACK AND SHE MADE ME TAKE IT OUT THEN THE 1ST TIME IT KIND OF DID HURT LIKE IF U BIT YOUR TONGUE ITS HARD TO EAT AND UNCOMFORTABLE CAUSE ITS FUSTRATING CAUSE YOU CANT EAT AND YOU KIND OF HAVE TO EAT ON THE SIDE OF YOUR MOUTH AND THE SECOND TIME I GOT IT ..IT DIDNT HURT BUT THE HEALING AGAIN WAS UNCOMFORTABLE BUT IT ONLY FEELS UNCOMFORTABLE FOR LIKE 3 DAYS OR A WEEK EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT IT DOESNT SO MUCH HURT JUST A LITTLE BUT ITS JUST UNCOMFORTABLE AT TIMES .. BUT YEA YOU MAY TALK WEIRD BUT YOULL GET USE TO IT .. aND YEA A LOT PEOPLE SAY IT LOOKS TRASHY BUT WHO CARES WHAT THEY SAY ITS WAT YOU WANT AND SOMETIMES WHEN I TALK TO MY FAMILY OR MY BOYFRIENDS FAMILY I GET EMBARRASED CAUSE OF WHAT THEY MIGHT THINK ABOUT MY PERCING BUT I USUALLY ALWAYS WEAR A CLEAR ONE ;) gOOD luCK!
