To be honest with you they both go simultaneously. When you say "Relationship" that implicates immediately communication and dedication. If you encounter any problem in a relationship (which is normal) your dedication to it will drive you to communicate with the partner to find a solution to it in order to maintain the level you have. If one doesn't care about the relation he is in he won't bother to communicate.

Open - straightUP communication is the key to any relationship. If you are able to talk openly and honestly about your relationship, the good and the bad, then the issue of "dedication" or the "lack thereof" will be easily discussed & resolved. B/c you can either dissolve the relationship if the dedication to the health, well being, and future of the relationship isn't satisfactory to both parties...or you can agree to work on this issue together, openly & honestly. The big thing here, is that you can't be fearful of your honesty, in & of itself, damaging or ruining the relationship....b/c with a lack of mutual respect & dedication you can get into a dangerous trap of "never getting over" what has been discussed no matter what improvements are made.....but if you can't fully trust in the person you are with, to the point of being totally open and honest with them about your feelings, then you definitely need to stop and carefully consider what is important in a relationship to you.

Both are equally important to have in a relationship. You have to be dedicated to having good communication or you will get lazy and stop communicating. I know it would be so much easier for me if I would just tell my man to hush and leave me alone instead of communicating, so its a good thing I'm dedicated to it or we would have been over a long time ago.

its not about communication or dedication. It is also about mystery, there has to be some uncertainty in a relationship. Communication is important, but it should be black or white, there should be maybes in between. Dedication , i am assume in terms of your faithfulness ? then i think both have to be present since you can communicate and be faithful and vice versa.

communication is dedication. you may think you are dedicated to the relationship, but not communicating means you are not dedicated to each other. if they can't begin to open themselves to you, or they don't want to listen when you open up, they don't deserve the relationship.

Once you start communicating everything else falls into place. You can't have a relationship without communication, once you start talking about things you realize how much or how little you know about that person. And isn't it what it's all about....knowing that person.

communication is far important than dedication ~ it indicates of how grateful you feel about being with her...
and it also shows how much you love and care her ~ she doesn't want stupid Valentine's Day cards and chocolates... she only wants you to be with her spending some quality time!
