!
Is this a first impression you have of this person or an instinctive feeling, you might want to go along with your feelings, but on the other hand there was this guy that when we first met I just din't like him, for no apparent reason, then by chance I ran into him at my new job, he had just started working there also.

Well since I sort of knew him we started to hang out together at lunch. To my suprise he really turned out to be a great guy and we started dating. We're still good friends even though our romance fizzled, and you'll never know how you might feel about a person if you don't take the time to get to know them!

If the person is totally intolerable to your tastes, I do believe both you and the other person would gain nothing but discomfort from the experience of getting together.
However, there are times when an acquaintance who would not threaten anything beyond a brief, or simply friendly get together . . then I see no harm in the time shared.
One may be surprised!
Since, it is possible to surprise oneself with what unexpected pleasure or delight one may encounter in the company of someone we have judged : not likable.

It's not wrong, just unfair. The other person is being lead on and you have to date someone you don't like. Why even put yourself in that predicament? Its ok to say no. Trust me, after the first couple of times, its so much fun.

if it is an issue of your need to just be able to hang out and have a good time then make sure the person you are going out with understands that is the only reason you are with them.

tell them up front that you are not interested in anything other than an enjoyable evening with others.

beyond that, if you really don't like a person - - - then don't be in their company or feel like you must.

yes. i believe that u need to be with someone that u have feelings for! If u go out with a guy whom you dont like, chances are that the relationship isnt going to work out for very long. Jus find someone that u actually like, and things will work out much better.

Why would you go out with someone you don't like? It seems to be a HUGE waste of time and effort on your part. Unless you are doing it as a favor for someone--then no you shouldn't waste your time!!!

It isn't as good as you think to go out with a boy that you don't even like but if you are doing this then all you have to do is break up with him but don't break his heart just sit down and talk about your feelings a everything will turn out perfect.

It is if the only reason you're going out with him is for your own purposes (like making someone else jealous). Why would you go out with someone you don't like?

I wouldn't say its wrong, but its not a good idea for lots of reasons.
You'd be leading them on and that can open a lot of problems right there. You'd end up wasting his time and yours.

good luck
