Ok, this is not a serious topic, but at least it isn't "can sponge bob beat barney in a cage match"?

It has to be a REAL existing or historical style- "gun kata" while interesting and the most effective martial art ever, is still fictitional.

1- indiana jones
2- the terminator
3- batman
4- BA baracus
5- shaft (richard roundtree- not the sissy sam jackson one)
6- darth vader
7- rambo
8- conan the barbarian
9- conan o'brien
10- spiderman

Indiana Jones - Old school boxing mixed with street fighting mixed in. Something like what Gene Tunney and Jack Dempsey were doing.

The terminator - Not sure he really had one. Mostly just brute force.

Batman - A cross between karate and jujitsu with ninjitsu's stealth and a masked face.

BA baracus - mostly boxing, from Mr. T's days as a Chicago bouncer

Shaft - Never saw any of the old Shaft movies. My guess would boxing and some karate thrown in as it starting making it into mainstream in the 70's.

Darth Vader - Iaido/Jujitsu/karate - similar to what a samurai would study

Rambo - Whatever they teach Special Forces/Army Rangers

Conan the barbarian - Iaijitsu, Kenjitsu, (He did learn off of a samurai sword in the movie) and Medieval Sword fighting

Conan O'brien - not a clue

Spiderman - Probably cross between Wu Shu flips and movement and Ninjitsu from walking on walls and using his webbing to travel up buildings

Though not a serious topic, this question made me think quite a bit...

1- Indy - western boxing, street fighting (too much whip credit - he doesn't use it in fights that much)
2- the terminator (800 series) - whatever works
the terminator (1000 series) - aiki jutsu, ju jutsu (not bjj) (see T-800 vs. T-1000 hand to hand)
3- batman - ALL of them (no explanation needed)
4- ba - street fighting
5- shaft - kempo? no idea haven't seen him fight
6- vader - ken jutsu and kiai jutsu (lightsaber, the force is the closest to the idea of chi projection which is what kiaijutsu is all about)
7- rambo - nin jutsu and penjak silat (ad hock camoflage abilities and knife use)
8- conan - too stupid so just instinct - he has no formal training
9- conan o'brian - drunken monkey kung fu (nuff said)
10- spiderman - capuira (the acrobatics of how spider-man fights)

11- Nico from above the law - Bad Acting Jutsu. :)

hmm, i started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu recently and am progressing efficiently and love it...if i had to pick another? not sure...i always thought capoieira, TKD and karate were exciting...but i actually may lean more towards M. Thai or Boxing. Anderson Silva: Uncanny with his strikes(knees, kicks, elbows, fists) yet elusive and deadly on the ground (brown belt in BJJ) but theres alot of BJJ/ boxers out there which i noticed is becoming more popular as well. (ironic because my gym only does BJJ and Boxing) Mac Danzig - love him or hate him, he cant even showcase his true groundgame bc he pummels opponents and then just chokes them out... Mastering Boxing and BJJ would be my choice

Mr. Moto - Judo, Ju-Jitsu and Karate.
