I love my dogs dearly and I love sleeping with them. They snuggle right next to me and I love petting them as they fall asleep. It is a quiet bonding time for us. My border collie/black lab makes this purring sound as I pet his ears. It's really cute. Anyone else do this as well or am I just crazy?

We have a little cross breed that sleeps in our bed, and several huge dogs that totally surround the base of the bed..Can't get up without wiggling foot in between them for a toe hold, but nobody is gonna come in either!

They all have nice beds in the other part of the house, but only use them in daytime.. I finally just put pillows around the base of the bed for them, as they were sleeping on the cold floor...

I am trying to figure out...Are they in there to protect us? .or so that we can protect them...or do they only feel comfortable when being that close to us...hmmmmm

We have a seven year old rottie and he sleeps with us, well with me when my man is gone at work. Then when he comes home my baby thinks that my man should sleep on the floor. He will crawl up in between us and lays down and pushes my man out of the bed. It's great we love it. Our cat has even taken to sleeping on his pillow, which of course drives my man nuts cuz he isn't really a cat person, however our babies rule!!!!!!

My little staffordshire bull terrier used to sleep with me when I lived with her. Unfortunately she lives with my parents now but she was a fantastic hot water bottle. Occasionally she would have dreams where she would bark and make running motions which lead to me getting kicked a bit, but I didn't mind. On the days when I was the most sad she would come and sit next to me and rest her head in my lap. I miss her dearly.

As much as I used to gripe about it...my shepherd mix Shadow used to sleep with my husband and I. Now that we have another dog that sleeps on her own bed at the foot of mine...Shadow left :( I miss her in bed all snuggled up. She would even get cozy in the crook of my knee. (If i was lucky to get to stretch my legs out ;) She is rotten!

Well I own a huskey cross and I will allow him on the bed while I watch TV or read but he pants all the time and it shakes the bed all night long. Drives me nuts! LOL but he owns a blanket and he sleeps on that on the side of the bed close to me.

Both of my dogs sleep with my husband and me. One sleeps on top of the covers and the other one will not sleep unless he is under the covers and touching me. So Cute!

You're not crazy! Or I am too...
My little teacup poodle sleeps with me every night and lays his head on the pillow next to me like a little person. It's irresistably cute and he knows it gets him petted and cuddled.

Mine would come sleep with me whenever it storms. She would just hop up on the bed and lay her head on a pillow and I would pet her til I fell asleep....and if that wasn't long enough she would turn around and poke me in the face to wake me up. lol so no...you're not crazy...
