This guy in my class and i were sitting in a group in class.... and he finished his work very quickly while i was just starting because i wanted to make it neat and easy to read!
as he saw this he starting to laugh and say "your so slow, how many hours will this take you?"
we both kind of laughed..... but why would he say this?

It could be his way of flirting with you.He is trin his best to joke and be mean becuz he can't think of anything else to say to you.Good luck and I don't think you are lookin 2 deep into this I think you are takin the right precautions

Sounds like he was just commenting on how slow you are and making a joke that it will take you hours. I don't think there was any hidden meaning.

hey, you should never talk to him again,what a blast..all he was trying to say was that your dense...Look at it this way,saying you are too slow meant you are a slow learner, such asimple question to take you that long?meaning he is a star and bright and your just dull,,,what a f.......! if it were me,i wud just go back and make him swallow his own senseless words.

He had nothing better to do. It sounds like he's a slacker and he enjoys making fun of people to make himself feel better. You handled it well. Don't let it bother you anymore. He's not worth it.

umm I don't think he was being mean or anything that's just a guys opinion of a "funny" or "good" joke he didn't mean anything by it.
