So my friend thinks I have/am in the beginnings of an eating disorder.

I mean don't get me wrong, I'm very self concious, I do wear lose clothing I watch what I eat, I play hockey 6 times a week and I go to the gym on a regular basis. But I'm not like, super skinny.

But she keeps bugging me saying I've got all the signs of an eating disorder, just because I drink slimfast and calorie count. I think I'm pretty healthy.

And she keeps bugging me telling me that ever since my gym told me to lose 25-30 lbs I've gone insane and become super obsessive.

How ca I get her off my back, with out over eating?

I very rarely eat junk foods, and anytime I do I burn it off. I work off usually about 700 calories a day. And eat no more then 1100 calories a day

Eat only when hungry and not more than three times a day unless u r diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span.

Well, in my family, we have someone whom we suspect to have an eating disorder. The reason we think this, is because she always takes tiny portions and makes a point of attracting attention to it! Do you do that? It doesn't sound like you do. Sounds like you're healthy. People are built different. You probably have a fast motabolism and your friend should take that into account. Tell her this and it's just the way you're built. "Leave me alone!" You know, put your foot down.
But, take constant inventory of your body. Take care of yourself. 6 small meals- combo of protein and carbs- per day for an athlete. See a nutritionist or your coach for tips. If your friend sees you taking steps, maybe she'll understand. And if you feel a decrease in energy, either eat more, sleep more, or something! K?

I would just let her know that your being smart about you dieting. Tell her that you have a weight loss "goal" and plan to eat to maintain that weight once you get there. Tell her you are against stick thin weight and that you just want to be a better athlete. I would also mention that I am in control of my weight and if I have any diet questions ill be sure to ask you, but tell her that you would rather not discuss your diet plan because its your body and not hers.

Just tell her you are following your doctors instructions.

Stuff a donut or big pastry in your mouth, right in front of her, and swallow it (and don't vomit it up afterward).
