The answer is mostly yes. You get the numbers from the newspaper or TV guide and input them into your VCR and it will record the programmes you choose. However, a word of warning: I would use PDC (Programme Delivery Control) when you record your programmes. This means that the recordings you set will start at the time the programme starts, not at the time it's supposed to start. For example, if the programme is supposed to start at 7pm & it's delayed until 7.04, then PDC will delay the start of the recording until the programme actually starts and keeps recording till the finish. Likewise, if the programme starts at 6.58 and finishes early, the video will start and stop at the exact times that the programme does. However, if you just use videoplus without PDC, the recording will start and end at the times the programme is supposed to start, which could mean that you miss either the beginning or the end of the programme. Sometimes you can miss both the beginning and the end of the programme. Incidentally, most videos of this type will also ask you if you want to record the time slot just once, daily, weekly, etc. Just make the selection that suits you best. Hope this helps.
