I've been thinking of skinny dipping in the ocean at night when nobody's around. Are there any dangers in bintan waters?

You probably want at least good overhead moonlight, or wear a waterproof headlamp or wristlamp or something so you can see things that are dangerous in the ocean.

And shoes so you don't step on anything. If you want the whole nakie experience while you are swimming, you can attach some styrofoam balls to your shoes, and tie them to your wrists with a cord so they don't float away from you, then take them off once you get into deeper water. But put them back on before you walk out of the water. You can tread water and put your shoes on at the same time, be sure to keep your head up and your lungs full of air so you float, and work fast...maybe just Tevas or slip-on sneakers, crocs aren't very protective if you ask me but they would probably float. If you are very muscular, you might have more trouble. I have a lot of flubber and fat floats, making it fun for me to be in the water.

You can't really protect yourself from anything dangerous like jelly fish and sharks with a bathing suit so I don't see the difference. But you have to KNOW they are there to avoid them.

i'd locate it the two frightening and humiliating because of the good possibility of discovery. I truthfully have been on a sea coast with my buddy, and theory we've been by myself, yet others come, possibly an old guy jogging his canine or a family participants enjoying the sea coast. thankfully, we've been only necking and have been clothed!

There won't be anything there at night that isn't there in the daytime. 'Cept your clothes, of course.
