Errr... Can't you have a girl as your gurlfriend for fun?....(Not for sex, i mean just for someone to spend your time with.. doesnt mean you have to marry her, rite?)

You don't have to marry anyone if you don't want to.
When you have achieved your dream of becoming ____. That would be a good time to get a girlfriend, because if you get a girlfriend before you achieve your dream of becoming ____ you are most likely not going to achieved your dream. That is because you will spend more time with your girlfriend then working toward your dream.
for example:
Your dream is to become rich. One way to become rich is to go to college and get a good education. Then find a good job and save money for investing and starting a successful business. The sky is the limit!
...but if you get a girlfriend and all you do is spend time with her and you will end up not going to college and you won't become rich.
I hope you achieve your dream before you get a girlfriend. That's my advise and don't rush into marriage. The divorce rate is at it's highest. Just go your for dream and don't let a girl get in the way.

The joy of dating is that you spend time with someone to find out if you are compatable and if so you move to the next level. There are levels of dating and marriage is at the very end. Sounds like you've got it right. For now, have fun. Marriage shouldn't even come into the picture.

While you are a teenager yes. But when you get old enough that the girl will be thinking marriage or that you will be thinking of marriage you should only date someone that is the kind of person you would be interested in marrying. It would be bad to date a girl for fun and she actually be wanting marriage, or to date a girl for fun you wouldn't really want to marry and then up falling for her even though you know it will be hard to live with her.

Of course you can have a girlfriend just to spend time with. But if you have sex with her, she will think you are fully committed to her (not to marry, but you know what I mean), so before you take that step, think seriously about what the consequences might be. If you just want to hang out with her, don't give her any impression otherwise.

Not only do you have to marry her, you have to support her parents. Just kidding. If you think it would be fun to hang out with a girl, do it. Unfortunately, intimacy is very possible. A prophet once said, 'man should not spend too much time with a women, unless she is his wife'. There is a lot of truth in what he said.

Of course you can just have a girlfriend, you don't have to marry her. I personally don't plan to marry. But I think it's only fair when you're dating someone to let them know up front if you have no intention of getting married just incase the person expects the relationship to lead to a marriage.

no you don't have to marry her! if it was like that then the world would be full of married people!! take it one step at a time, and if after some time you feel you WANT TO and not HAVE TO marry her them go ahead.
