When I connect my camera to my computer and switch the camera on, I automatically get a dialog box giving me several options. You can copy stuff from the camera to the computer using that, but I never do. I use Windows Explorer and treat the camera as another folder.
Sorry, I don't know the eBay side of it, but I would expect you just copy the photo from the camera (or the computer, if you've put it there) to eBay.
As you can tell, I'm not technologically adept so I have to do stuff by trial and error.

Connect camera via USB
Switch camera on
Select Scanner and Camera Wizard from the list
Click OK
Follow the instructions
If that doesn't work, make sure that your camera software is loaded into your computer. The camera software will work similar to the Wizard.

Did your camera come with any sort of pc installation disc?
If so, install it. If not - I think you just plug it into a spare USB port and windows media does all the rest.
