the pharmacy gave me these instead of ortho tricyclen and i mainly wanted the bc pills because of acne. just wondering if the generic version will also clear it up.

The generic version of the branded drug will do the same. The FDA tests generics for equivalency.

I think that the thing in bc pills that clears up acne are the same hormones that keep you from getting pregnant. So you should be good.

the generic version is supposed to have the same effects as the brand name version.
