The battery in my bathroom scales just ran out and ive misplaced it, It had the same diameter as a penny.

I know it's a long shot but does anyone have an idea what a battery that size is called?

CR2032 is very common but its a little thicker than a penny (twice as thick). CR2016 is also quite common and the same diameter but not quite as thick (very close to the same as a penny). I'd bet it would be one of the two. You could always take the scale to the store with you so you can make sure it fits and works before you buy it.

You MAY find it to be a CR2032. I would guess it is a CR style Lithium battery. 2032 is very common.
