There is the obvious one. More than one woman who practises sorcery is the most common. Secondly, ugly old women, but the alternative and one I prefer, because I never meet the former is, a small shrub with leaves like the alder that has yellow leaves and edible seeds. However, it is also an old astringent potion and drug so, beware!
