I want to put relatively large size decals on my walls (red and black mod squares). I want to decorate my bedroom walls but when I move out in two years, the walls have to be white again, so I thought decals would be an easy solution. But, I'm not sure how to go about it. I've tried looking online for a company that will do it, but I'm having a hard time. Any ideas to how I can do it cheap and easy?

Have you tried looking in old wallpaper books. A lot of stores will give you any old wallpaper books they do not use anymore. Next, simply pick out what you are looking for and apply them to your wall. When you are ready to move out, peel away the top layer of the wallpaper. There should then be a yellow sticker residue left behind. This is simple to remove without doing any damage. Wet some paper towels and lay them on the surface. As the water starts to seep into the residue it will make the glue wet again. Then simply peel it off and clean the wall with a moist sponge. I have done this several times and you could never tell once I had moved out. This is a great and CHEAP way to do it. Good luck.

Well I would go with stencils because of the decals that might not come off if and when you leave and when you paint over them they will still be showing. Like a design in the wall. The texture of the two matierials. It si soooo much cheaper too!

You could go and buy black contact paper ( I don't know if they make any in red) and cut squares out of it and peel off the back and stick it to wall and it usually comes off pretty easy- if you can't find red then buy white and paint it red!
