If a man really loves someone, but for some reason (eg distance) they can not be together, why do men just go quiet? Is it because they just don't like situations that can't be fixed? If so, why don't they ever tell you that or explain how they feel?

it's hard for us to get emotional we avoid emotions by simply going quite and let you do the talking with awnsers like i guess so
if thats the way you feel....ok.... really thats the simple awnser
it could be more elaborate but thats really the bottom line

Unfortunately for a lot of men the term "out of sight out of mind" holds true. Don't forget that men are creatures of visual stimulation. You not seeing him every day, every week or whatever, he looses interest. They don't tell you how they feel or the like, because they themselves usually don't realize that it is the way it is. Every situation has a solution, so for him to just "clam up" seems to lead one to believe that he has either moved on, or feels it isn't worth trying for. Talk to him, find out what is going on in his mnd. You may be better off not waiting around for him either...especially if there is no prospect of resolving the distance between the two of you.

Men aren't like women. They don't feel the need to sit down and think about their feelings and go over it all in their heads and have long conversations about it "just to get it out." For most men, if they know they have something to say that a girl won't want to hear, they'd rather just disappear and let the situation take care of itself, rather than endure the scene that she might create. They HATE dealing with tears and disappointment, so they just avoid it. It sucks for us, but it's just one of the many crappy differences between the sexes.

If a man REALLY loves someone, this does not happen. If they go quietly it is for another reason. And that explains the quietly. They don't want someone to try and talk them out of it or hurt feelings.

Most men are taught at an early age that being sensitive
is not a manly thing , Talking about your feelings makes you vulnerable.
Just because a man is this way dsnt mean
that he is incapable of expressing it.
Never pressure him to express, just let him know
that you will be there when hes ready.
Remember, just because they dont say it dsnt mean they dont think it.

I think if someone truely loves another none of that matters, they would make the effort because you would be something they wouldn't want to lose, not even distance can stop that!

I've been noticing such events in developed nations. Maybe its because they find someone else out there.
I've been living far away from my love for last 6 years, but never thought about quiting.

sorry but i presume your in a relationship with this person,,,you dont seem happy..loo kat all that you want and all that you get then seriously look into your heart and ask yourself why, what etc ,,think it over and come to a conclusion.
