I am a Liverpool supporter, but I have a lot of respect for Celtic especially after how I was treated at Parkhead after hillsbrough.
But I'm a little concerned about recent claims that the song 'you'll never walk alone was first sang at your ground.
I was standing in the kop in 1964 when the song was first sang
.If you can tell me that it was sang at parkhead earlier will you let me know.
Hail hail

It is originally a song of the Kop, but I am looking forward to belting it out tomorrow as we show AC Milan what an atmosphere can really be like.

WILL YOU PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE
http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/s/130/130093_youll_never_walk_alone_is_our_song.html
i know that what you read on the internet is not always the truth, but on this occassion a subject which i am passionate about, when the song was first sung at old trafford for the returning team after the munich air disaster, that was the first time a football crowd sang opera and this was also the first time "you'll never walk alone" was sung in a football stadium.

All wrong. It was sung by a bunch of Yanks first! Check out Rogers & Hammerstein musical 'Carousel'. And they didn't steal hub caps or run from bars of soap!

Mr Fudge. Wee bit disappointed here ;)
