lol- it would be kind of hard to have an authentic page saying that, given that it would have to speak for the whole Bible, which unlike a movie saying that, was not written by one person. It's 66 books, written by 44 different authors, over 1500 years, on three continents in three languages; and was held as scripture by the nation of Israel for thousands of years, and the newer works were held by the early Christians up until now as scripture....

Plus there's the fact that when you stand on the principles and ways of relating to God, they hold up to real-life challenges every time.

As a scientist, I don't question another's work if I'm able to reproduce it in the lab, and to see it play out myself. I've seen the tenets of the Bible play out in life, so don't see it being "fiction."

LOL

Sorry. There is no "original bible".

There are fragments of text on scrolls and loose pages, all from various periods and places. When the Catholic Church gathered some of the surviving early texts into the Bible, they revised parts, later things were added or subtracted on occasion.

The only "original" religious text is the Book of Mormon. The manuscripts for it were written as a sort of science fiction by Rev. Solomon Spaulding, and came into Joseph Smith's possession after the Rev. died.

αυτό είναι ένα καλλιτέχνημα πλάσμα φαντασίας. οποιοσδήποτε όμοιος σε πρόσωπο ζούμε ή αλλιώς is καθαρόαιμος coincidental

or transalted from teh greek into latin

is est a opus of fingo. Ullus similis ut alio victus vel secus est caste coincidental

They picked and chose the texts that they wanted to include anyway, they would just say it wasn't part of the Bible, like they do with the other texts that don't say what they want them too. It would be nice if it gave them some insight, alas, it wouldn't though.

My difficulty with taking something like that seriously is the knowledge that that kind of "legal language" never existed until much much later when copywrite laws were first introduced.

It would be a hell of book just to write that as fiction. Though not eveything in it can be believed.

Well.. there is no original Bible, which is the first problem with Christianity. Secondly, that would be hilarious to see 2.1 billion people suddenly have their basis for religious belief torn from underneath them.

Thats not going to happen, foxy lady (a compliment)
What would you do if Jesus appeared to you, told you he was coming back soon, and to go out and save as many as you could for Him? - many have had visions of that sort.
