Yes, we can revoke the OBC quota, because better talented students can occupy the seats reserved for OBC. They can shine as the best and help the country in its progress. It also prevents the students from entering into nuxalism.

Our government is not living up to the promises it had made to the people. They have been neglecting their responsibilities towards the citizens for years. Because of that ,there is rising disparity in the social condition among sections of society. To subside the mistakes committed by the political parties in power, whatever parties it may be, they have established this discriminatory quota called OBC. We can eliminate this kind of reservations rather than revoking it , in future ,by making ourselves better citizens and bringing to the task every political parties that fail to live up to the expectation of the citizens of this country. The government should have been focussing on imparting value based education to every citizens of this country because if we have that than we wont be needing these scheduled tribe, scheduled caste and OBC reservations anymore. Government should focus on providing them with facilities so that they become well equiped to face the competition like everyone else in a fair manner. But for the moment only the judiciary has the power to do anything regarding it. We can surely put pressure on the government by demonstrating in a peacefull manner as we have been doing it and lets hope it gets revoked as soon as possible.

We are becoming the sacrificial goats because of the inactivity that our previous generations had shown towards the government when it was lacking in discharging its duties. Now this is one of the results of one of the many mistakes committed by previous generations by remaining inactive in governance and we should not be committing the same mistake once again. Lets make a pledge that we will all stand up whenever there is lack of concern shown by the government in matters relating to the welfare of the common man.

I am myself a student of a good college in India and belong to the GENERAL Category.
I think OBC quota will not do much harm to us(as the general seats remain the same) but the thing is why can't Government spend so much for increasing the seats for the general category.
A common student studies so much all day and night to get admission into a good college and all the students belonging to different categories get through easily.
I have experience that all the students belonging to categories cannot cope up with the pressure of the college studies.
The actual thing is f***** up Arjun Singh wanted to remove Dr.Manmohan Singh from his seat and become the next PM of India.
Now its next to impossible to stop this thing from happening.
The latest is we will now have to pay taxes to fund this seat increase and the education cess increases from 2% to 3%.
So net service tax would now be 12.36%.
The only thing we can do is BRAIN DRAIN or contact Our Honorable President for some relief.
Sincerely speaking i am fed up of all the political movements taking place in our country.

I willing to give this answer because i am from general caste goverment has done great work for obc people but govt. forget that intelligent people r being lefted due to this govt. polices .govt. has divided castism in society . Now people r being very smart if govt continuosly giving support to obc people then after long time it will put in great troble. So no more obc quota should be given we r indians we r proud to be an indian so there should be no quota for any class in soceity it would be more better .Because this quota to day india is not developing to fast like other countries.

Initially caste been formed by workwise to identify a person. Later it has been turned into by birth of parent by mischieves. Refused to learn, educate the lower caste by abducting their opportunities. They are suppressed. They are treated as slave to serve the upper caste. For the past 2000 years this has been taken place. Just seventy years they are able to enter in the education field for study and teach. In that also upper caste interference is there for attaing higher education and powerful posts. Most of them are still living in unfacilitated rurual areas Hence, until the caste symbols survives, it is essential to implement the OBC quota. Revoking the OBC quota will ge back to 2000 years to treat them as slave.

Hello Moon, The verdict from supreme court on OBC quota is a just the beggining. Actually these politions are interested in increasing their vote bank. But the stay order is a slap on their face. In my view reservation should b there but only for poor NO caste based,as a poor general caste lack the chances for selection in competitive exam but a creamy OBC gets admission so this injustice is not fair. Thats it I like ur awareness on social matters. I u want u can e mail me. Bye

That is possible only by a revolution and elimination of communal politics .While crying hoarse to do awy with discrimination in the name of castes , the politicinas have firmly entreched the caste system for the sake of dividing people for securing votes in order to enrich themselves .The progenies of the earstwhile maharajahs are at the bottom of the lists of international beggers , the progeny of our politicians who hail from the humble poor families have found their way in the Inernational list of Billioners .Now they are the maharajahs .tocontinue as maharajahs and to make even the sons of thier concubines maharajahs , they will stie hard to maintain the caste based quota and reservation system. They know how to make money .So the present political set up will never do away with the quota system . In fct the system will be extended to many more communities and many more matters .You need nbot be surprised evn if they order thast each family should resergve their daughters tob emarried in certain rations to the SCs,Sts BCs .OBCs and MBCs.Wait for the day.they donot know the diffenrece between the constitution and the legislature .and seem to be under the impression that they can do any thieng they want under the sun and th constituion is there to serve them and the judiciary is their subordinate . they hae to learn a lot and they do not understand the function of the judiciary., since most of them do not have good educational and social background.

We should "protest" against the OBC quota and complete the pending work of Indira Sawhney and the other citizens who spoke against this OBC quota because there is no point of making reservations in the field of education because everyone studies a lot, everyone suffers the loss of money and they should be chosen on the basis of their capability not on the basis of their CASTE.
