look, we are allowed to voice our opinions. This is a free country. If some of us don't like Hawaii, THEN WE DON'T. Leave it as that & quit trying to say that Hawaii is an awesome place to live & it's gold or whatever the hell you think it is. That's your opinion. We are merely stating what our experiences of Hawaii is. So, if i say that i think the island of O'ahu SUCKS! & the fact that it's infested with drug using locals, then let it be. Don't try to say NO, that's not true, Hawaii has no drugs....blah-blah-blah. All i'm saying is DON'T HATE b/c we are allowed to voice our opinions. So, im going to say it again: O'AHU SUCKS!!!! nothing but a city with lots of traffic, major drug crime problem & some, i said SOME (not all)....SOME racist people.

FYI (for your information). I am NOT white. I am FILIPINO & proud. It shouldn't have anything to do with my race anyway. It just shows RACISM. who cares where i come from. SOME locals have the nerve to still convey what they call the "Aloha Spirit" and still talk about not liking white people or black people or WHATEVER other people who are not Hawaiian or from Mainland. I'm sorry, but that's NOT my idea of laid back, they can take their Aloha & shove it up their A S S. "Aloha Spirit" yeah right! more like they demand respect rather than give it. Again, O'AHU SUCKS!!!! i'm sure the other islands are much better. Hopefully....

Doesn't that pretty much describe America in general. Traffic sucks, drug use is fairly common and there are some racist people.

Thank you for your opinion. However, most people would disagree with your premise that Hawaii sucks. Drugs are a world-wide problem. Of course there are drugs in Hawaii. Its geographic significance guarantees that drugs, bird flu, and other undesirable things show up. Of course there is a lot of traffic on Oahu (and Maui). Everyone (except you) wants to be there and the land mass and miles of paved roads are limited. Hawaii has bigots just like every other place. Don't be naive. The problems you cite make up real life in America.
What about the good things, like the weather? The beach? The many cultures you live among? You may be unhappy there, but millions of other people would LOVE to trade places with you. Have you thought about moving to the mainland? You think you'll be treated better up there? Maybe... Maybe not. If you are unhappy in Hawaii then you should save your money and move. I think you'll discover why everyone else wants to be in Hawaii when you don't.

Yes Hawaii has it's share of drugs just like anywhere else. Actually saw a special on tv about how middle America has the biggest drug problem. think about it they can walk into any farm supply center and buy what they need right off the shelf. Yes there is racism everywhere. If you have the right attitude you can get along with anyone anywhere. Hawaii is the most toleratable stae as far as race and life style.

bob is part filipino and racist. bob is sorry but bob hates white people to death no offense to white people out there its the truth.
let bob tell you this, white people have this fantasy that hawai'i is paradise and the good life and with waikiki that good for nothing government confirms their fantasy.
also when white people tend to move here majority of them dont move into shitty neighborhoods or housing so they are still partially shielded from the truth. you cant make them see the truth unless you force them to go to the housing or some **** like that. anyways thats bobs opion

Oahu is a nice place to live if you are of Hawaiian or Asian descent. I am Filipino, so people regard me as one of them and I feel comfortable there. But other than that, if you are of a different race, especially white, than you may hear some bad things said about you. That is why you probably don't like it there.

Um...Oahu is not a city. It's an island. Honolulu is a city and it's on the island of Oahu.
Yes, you're entitled to your opinion. You are also entitled to keep it to yourself. No wonder you don't like Hawaii. You seem very bitter and hateful and people like you don't last long here.
