If it took him this long to realize he wanted you back thats just too bad. Forget him. Men always realize how good a woman they had after the fact. You're know you're capable of finding someone better and you deserve it. He's lying if he said he moved back because of you, especially not knowing if he was actually capable of getting you back. Tell him you want to start off as friends and see where things go from there. If he doesn't want to be friends I would seriously question his motifs.

Depending on why you are apart...there is no reason if there was not some abuse or he wasn't a total jerk to meet him again for dinner but whether you should go back into it/ you already KNOW the answer deep down inside and you really don't need me to tell you but I will support you in your decision....If he made you happy...if he moved for work sure...if he is just lonely and looking for attention NO... or looking for someone who will care for him. No
you know which it is

Hmm, probably not the best idea (know from personal experience!), but it all depends on your specific situation. Think about why your relationship didn't work out in the first place, have things changed since then? If not, it won't work the second time either.

If you are available and not seeing anyone else, I would suggested meeting him once to see what his motives are. Always be skeptical with an ex; its hard to determine true motives. Proceed with caution and bail out at the first sign of trouble. Don't make the same mistakes twice.

I think that you should tell him that you want to be friends for right now and also that actions speak louder than words and if he wants you that much than prove it, I think that he might just want what he can not have but if you tell him that and he does it than you should give him a second chance, depending on why you guys broke up

Sounds like “obsession”. Anything linked to “obsession” is dangerous. Say No…. who wants a stalker anyway!!! Only Michael Jackson…

Wow. Was he good to you? Did you miss him? How far do you think this relationship will go. Is it the best for both of you? What do you think might happen. How long have you been split up? This is all up to you.

i think the best way to find out is to make him wait a lil. make him PROOVE to you he wants you back. if you make him wait, and he stays around and keeps trying and keeps missing ya and keeps wantin ya back, and not just ditching ya
then hes for real. but if he walks away after you make him wait...then you have not only prooved him wrong, but saved urself a lot of heartache.
if he realy wants you, make him proove it. he'll wait if your worth it to him.

Just date & see how it goes.Unless of course the reason for the break-up was him being abusive.
