Even if the American public votes to keep "In God We Trust" on everything, the judges who legislate from the bench will find a reason to shoot it down.
I think it should be kept, but apparantly a tiny fraction of society rules this country, instead of the majority.

Simply Stated.......
Our Country was based on "In God We Trust"
we have become tooooooo politically correct and have shot ourselves in the foot trying to be so P.C.
GOD FORBID WE SHOULD OFFEND SOMEONE!
I WOULD VOTE FOR IT TO STAY !
Every religion has thier own God.
Some have buddah, some Allah, some Mohammed, Would we have to then become the P.C. nation and add "In Allah, Buddah, and Mohammed etc..... we trust?
Also, how dare they take down the 10 commandments from a Federal building, again another instance of P.C. because it offended someone! The 10 commandments are a basis for life & could be & should be applied to daily living in any religion or belief including atheists, because I am sure even though they dont believe in a God, they certainly dont want to, kill, steal, or adulter, or dishonor their parents in any way, but I do not understand how it could offend someone to the point of removal.

I think that if America is striving to achieve real equality, and all-inclusiveness, then perhaps it is about time we stopped putting one package of beliefs above others in those aspects of life that claim to be representative of 'ALL AMERICA". The term "in God we trust" does not apply to all Americans today, and it did not apply to all Americans at the time that expression w as first (literally) coined. The difference is that back then, those who did not believe in any mysterious invisible superbeing were pretty much like the equivalent of homosexuals - they didn't dare open their mouths about it or they were likely to be lynched. America evolves, or it dies. Thankfully this country has evolved intellectually, rationally and compassionately from earlier times. Those who believed in ways that were considered not "Politically Correct" at the time of America's "birth" dared not speak. Nor did they have a representative who dared to speak for them. Today, America is breaking the shackles, and throwing open the doors of the closets in which many people were forced to cower
A person is not a Saint or a Sinner, based on his sexual orientation. Nor is he a paragon of virtue, or a dirty rotten scoundrel, purely based upon whether he believes in a "god" entity or otherwise. If we are to live up to that great concept that "all men are created equal" - we cannot whisper behind our hands out the corner of our mouth...." but some deserve to be more equal than others". No, we have to mean it as an all-inclusive concept, or it HAS no meaning. I thought THIS was the freedom that all those others died for, and when we present ourselves to the world, using symbols and images that claim to represent ALL the American People, but in fact,do not, then we lay ourselves open to an accusation of hypocracy that we are going to find increasingly difficult to defend.

It should be removed. This country was founded on the fact of separation of church and state. How is branding everything with "In God we Trust" showing that separation? And let's not forget the 10 Commandments are all over the Supreme Court and Senate/House of Rep. buildings.

We'd better keep it. We need God more than ever today. Ike Eisenhower was a fine General and President and he knew that what he accomplished came from trusting God.

Isn't the only reason that was added to our stuff was quite recently, like '67, to make communists look like godless hethens and different from us? I don't care if it is there or not. so yes, I would say vote for it, or if not it dosen't bother me.

Why should a violation of our constitution be put to a vote??
"In God We Trust" violates the separation of church and state... this is a violation of our U.S. Constitution... why is anyone thinking about submitting this for VOTER APPROVAL??
