There are many possiable reasons. I know I almost done that before. one reason can be that there is something bothering them about the relationship or that the guy says something that hurts them and they don't relize it, some women will just leave. Especally if you feel you can't talk about the situation cause you know it won't be resolved. Some times it's just eaiser for the emotional side to just pick up and leave.

some women are very evil. I consider those cowards, the ones that run and don't explain themselves, they don't give you closure. that happened to me a long time ago actually i was with a girl for a year and a half and she was seeing someone 3 months before she left me, one day she was gone. I'm sure guys have done that too but I've never seen it only girls so far. it hurts more and another thing i can't stand are these "Hints" they leave that's B***S*** have some dignity and Communicate don't be a coward and leave hints to keep us guessing what a waste of time, how childish. there i said my piece.

Same reasons some guys do...they may have found someone they think is 'better', they may have committment issues, things may be getting too serious, etc.
Bottom line is they are mean and cowardly people because no matter what your reason or excuse for ending a relationship, the least one should do is tell the other person it's over.
People who cannot end a relationship in a mature and thoughtful manner, have no business dating in the first place.

some guys and gals do that i think because they cannot handle rejections and do not have the coping skills to tell the person why .They think without an reason it will just go away but it never does approach that person not now but a few months from now and ask why .Dont put your life on hold as that would be a waste.But if it is closure you need then wait abit then go to them ok .It all makes sense when you have a cool head about it all.
