"How can I become saved?"

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die a horrific death for our sins, all of them! All He asks is that we believe that and commit our lives to living for Him. He gave us His love notes in the form of the Bible, our guide for living. This life is so short, temporary, almost a breath compared to eternity. We will ALL spend eternity somewhere, either in Heaven with the Lord or in hell with satan. John 14:6 says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." :)

I would tell them it is simple to be saved. You need to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. You must confess you know you have sinned and that you are sorry for your sins sins. Do this by saying a simple prayer telling Jesus that your are sorry for your sins and intent to be the best you can be by trying to sin no more. Then ask Jesus to come into your heart heart to rule and reign and thank Him for saving you in Jesus name. Amen! I would tell them how great I feel that they have made this decision and that they will never regret it. I would pray a blessing over them. It is also okay to just lead them in the Sinner's prayer if they prefer and pray with them the above requests. Lord bless you.

Believe that you are a sinner, BUT Jesus Christ was born, died, and risen again so that you can have forgiveness. Do not just confess your sins (wrongs) turn away from them and do not let them control your life.
Believe that The Bible IS the Word of God (Jehovah, Yahweh)
Love your neighbor as you do yourself
Love your enemy
Help all who are in need
Do not judge others (that is only God's right to do)
Trust in God as your Heavenly Father, his Son Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and the Holy Spirit as your guide and comforter
Be Patient, Kind, Caring, Considerate, Giving, Empathetic, Understanding, Thoughtful, Gentle, Compassionate

I would give them encouragement to become responsible for their own lives, actions, words, and deeds.
No one or no being is going to save you. You must learn with an open-mind, study all the facts, learn how to deal with others and yourself, make yourself happy, learn to control your emotions, and do what you can to help your fellow beings (animals included) and make the earth a better place to live.
If you want a spiritual path study all of the religions and then make up your own mind which one suits you best.

You must first want to be save for yourself. Seek Him while He may be found. Open up your heart and accept Him as your personal Savior. Confess your sins and give up the worldy things.
Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. If they ask what they should believe, I tell them that they should believe that it is finished, that he has done all the work for them at the cross through his shed blood. All they have to do is open up their heart and believe and accept his atoning grace.

I'd tell them to confess all of their sins to God. Ask Jesus to come into their hearts. Accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Believe in their heart that Jesus rose from the dead. Then DECLARE "I am Saved!!"

Pray to accept Jesus in your heart as the one true savior, believing in Him who died on the cross for the sins of mankind, asking Him as promised to forgive your own sins. In other words: accept the give of grace and salvation that is offered to all, accepted by few.

To me 'saved' means 'finding truth'. You can't become saved. You have to save yourself. Educate yourself, observe the world around you and let your mind come to its own conclusions in due time.

Just what Paul told his jailer in Phillipi."Believe on the Lord Jesus with all your heart and that God raised Him from the dead,and you will be saved,you and your household."
Paul also said,"It is by faith that you are saved ,through grace,and not of yourself.It is the "gift" of God.(all you have to do is accept the gift) and "Not by works lest any man boast"(say.".I earned it."..you can't earn a gift)Paul also said "Faith comes by hearing(and reading) hearing the word of God".
