how does one get a loan without a social security card , I have hear that BOA does this , is it true?

If you are a US citizen, you can get a social security card from your local SS office. Look in the government white pages or online for their location.

If you are not a US citizen, you would need to have some kind of legal documentation.

As a current BOA customer, you must have provided something to them to open your account. Whatever you used then will probably work for a loan.
