The more I look at questions and answers on here, the more I see of people ready with a flippant answer about how God doesn't exist or Christianity is irrational or bad. Why are people so ready to bash God, Christians, theists, conservatives, etc.? And why are their denials without substance? I don't see any of them offering a better way to live or evidence to the contrary.

If you don't believe in God then you must believe that the universe is explained by some scientific theory.

If you think that the correct theory is the Big Bang for example, it all started with an extreme case of a Black hole. All matter and energy in existence was in a spit smaller than the smallest imaginable object... too small to even measure using a modern electron microscope, and then... that "dot" exploded. Eventually resulting in the current universe.

It would also mean that you believe in the postulate that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, it can only be changed in form. And further that all matter is simply stored energy by the formula E = MC^2.

OK... Where did that dot of matter/energy come from to make the big bang?

The big bang is generally accepted as the best scientific explanation for the beginning of the universe. Scientists even think they have an estimation of WHEN and WHERE it occurred.

The matter and energy that forms the universe had to come from somewhere.... WHERE?

Prove that it wasn't God.

I believe because if there was no God, then they would not have
to be accountable for their lifestyle. God ( The Father, The Son,
and The Holy Spirit) has given light to everyone who comes into this world.
John 1:9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man
who comes into the world. Read John chapter 1 for the full
content.

Atheist are mentioned in the Scriptures, Ps. 14:1 The fool says in
his heart , there is no God.

One has to literally brainwash himself to not believe in God,
then come "hardness of heart" which the Bible also addresses.

Pride keeps people from submitting to authority and God gives
mankind "free volition" to choose or not to choose. He is a
loving God but He is a just God too. His justice sent His Son
to the cross to bear the sins of all mankind. That is LOVE and all
we have to do is believe who the Father sent. Jesus Christ is
God and you're in! Eternal life with Him. 1 John 5:1a.

Because so many people are trying to deny the living (in peace) of people who are in denial of god. And I am one of the people in denial of god, I offered my way of life (best that I can think of) but I don't force people to believe in my way of life. On evidences or arguments, you can check out some of my answers if you don't mind. My latest question is related to this subject too.

Edit:
If you read the answers, do you see a pattern how atheists debate and how religious people debate? The difference is enough to answer your question about a better way to live.

Would you need to offer evidence to people that Santa Claus is not real? Are you in denial that Santa is real? Do you believe you are doomed if you don't believe in Santa? Does your life have no meaning without Santa? Do you feel people need an alternative to Santa? Are you flippant about Santa? Is a belief in Santa irrational or bad? What is the substance of your denial in Santa?

If you like what you are doing, great.
What is the difference between following one book and saying it is absolute truth, or another. I see bible worshipers the same way I see Trekkies, or star wars fanatic. I do not deny God, I deny God asks people to write books. I deny God needs books. And in my opinion living according to the bible is miserable, arbitrary standards impossible to meet. How many Christians have you seen answer a question with- I'm a sinner. I don't have to be down on myself all the time. I don't have to be afraid of God.

particular, I do deny the existence of matters that fall under the kind of imaginary. i'm open to truthfully assistance in case you have some. in case you do no longer, then each ingredient you're saying approximately God is what you think of of roughly God and God is imaginary. the remarkable ingredient approximately nature is barely a factor of nature, and that there is a connection between nature and God is a few thing which you think of of to be actual. there is not any assistance of one in each of those connection. there is plenty in nature that is no longer beautiful. If all you look for is elegance, then you definately truthfully would be ignorant of each and each ingredient else. i in my view do no longer care what you have self assurance as long as you do no longer attempt to rigidity me to stay by your ideals; neither will I placed as much as somebody assuming superiority consistent with a private theory that has no beginning place certainly.

They hate responsibility and accountability. Have you noticed that it is the same characters who claim there is not God in their answers that advice women to divorce their husbands?, commit adultery or premarital sex if it feels good? and support gays/lesbians. They ascribe all wars and past pains to God and religion, to justify that the world is better without its maker.
The truth is they will rather have a world in which there is no God to account to--so they can do anthing they want. They are godless and gods at the same time. A path to destruction that is unfolding before our very eyes. 21st century humans

So saying God doesn't exist is "bashing" Christians? I don't bash Christians (or any religion), but I have no respect for those who insist that everyone has to believe exactly like they do!

If "their denials" are without substance, how can your *assertions* be without substance? You can't just say "God exists" without irrefutable proof and expect everyone to believe it. I think that's called "faith" which no one HAS to share.

It does not help when you have people like Falwell and Robertson representing Christians with the bigioted and stupid ideas. I consider my self a Catholic but yet I am ashamed that people from the religious right like Falwell and Robertson with their backwards thinking are representing my religion. I can't blame anyone if their preception of Christianity is bad when there are people like them representing us. I also realize that not all conserative are bad but it is just like the old saying, one bad apple spoils the whole bunch. Also, another thing that bothers me is that we have to push our beliefs onto other people and that we can't just leave them alone until they believe what we believe which I think is wrong.

because if they admit it they are afraid they might have to deal with it - ie change. They don't understand that God knows what is best and tells us for OUR benefit, and just think Christianity is a bunch of rules. They haven't experienced peace so they can't imagine it.
