Was He Flirting with Me?

I was at the grocery store, WinCo, and I was inline to check out, and my mom was there wth me.
I was the one paying for the groceries(a whole different story on why I have to pay) and my mom was putting the groceries on the converbelt.
She was watching the guy that was watching me, as he helped the guy in front of me pay for his groceries, I stood back a little watching him, and then when the guy moved, I moved up to the atm credit card thingy, and I just stood there. As I moved though he said "Hi How are you?"and I said fine. This guy had to have been at least 300 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, 6 feet or taller and he just kept watching me.
At that time my mom past by and we just stood there for a minute as he scanned the groceries, and he didn't say anything to her, and then she said "Here I'll go bag the groceries ma'am" and looked at me like he's so flirting with you. So RIGHT when she left to go down to the other converbelt to bag the groceries which isn't far away the guy asks me
"Is that your class ring?"
"Yes"
"What high school?"
"Burroughs(soft spoken)"
"What?"
"Burroughs(a little louder)"
"Isn't that in the mountains somewhere?"
"No its in Ridgecrest"
"What year did you graduate?"
"2004(very soft spoken)"
"what?"
"2004(a little louder)"
"oh that's cool, I thought you said 1994 and I was going to say damn you don't look that old"
and so I just stood there and smiled, and he scanned the groceries sooooooooo slow it was like he wanted me to stay there as long as I could so he could talk to me, but he ran out of things to say, then he said something as I swiped my card and I don't know what he was, and handed me the reciept and said "have a nice day come back soon"

What do you think?
He was watching me like a hawk and it was like he didn't want me to leave. I think that he was flirting but I am so shy.
What should I do when I go back to the grocery store? How can I give him my number?

Wow, he was totally flirting with you. and I know how it feels to be shy...but i am way past that now. How should you give him your number? Well if you are interested in him then just when you go back to the grocery store when you are checking outor w/e wait before you are leaving and then say, "Here's my number(hand him a little peice of paper with your number on it) call me". Trust me....he might look as though he is in shock for a minute or two...but he will get over it, it is only because you made a move, guys usually expect us girls do everything but you only need to go 1 way. in a sense witch i mean you only make 1 move, and let him do the rest.

Dang, if your interested in 300 lb guys then go for it . But to me it seems he's definitely flirting with you. Go for it,next time when he gives you your receipt give him a little piece of paper with your name and number. Then it will be up to him if he calls you or texts you.

well first off if your interested in him try and make conversation and talk louder and smile, flirt back with him.
And if your positive he wants to get to no you better just write your # on a little peice of paper and when you leave just slip it to him
