I know that Bush said he would never force a draft as long as he was in office but I would still like to know some facts about it. Who is eligible? Who is excluded? Are previous military members taken first? How much time do you owe if you are drafted? Any helpful websites I can visit? Your input is greatly appreciated!

My husband gets out of the Navy in May or June of '08 after 10 yrs of service. He'll be 28 yrs old. Would he be a candidate?

Check it out for yourself and get the facts, not the nonsense you'll get here.

Based on the draft laws.

All Men between the Ages of 18 to 24 are required to register for the draft.

It is a felony to not register for the draft.

If you don't and are never prosecuted you still lose out on Government college funds.

The amount of time you will serve depends on the military.

I think they are already taken previous military members. Only reason my dad is not being taken because he is retired and he is almost 51 now.

Females currently cannot register for the draft but they may change in the next 50 years.

Personally don't know what the thumbs down was for. I only gave facts not opinions.

Bush changed his mind.

All 18 to 26 year olds are being called up, right after the weekend.

Pack a bag, and a bus will be coming to pick you up.
