Read Romans 3:10

Being obedient to your parents or God is being obedient. ; )
But any good in me, comes from Jesus Christ.

There's a big difference between being "good" and being "obedient". Being good is like being nice or an angel-like but being obedient is like you only do things because you're obedient. But it sill depends on the person. You can combine the two.

Depends who you talk to - Nelson Mandala certainly wasn't obedient and I believe that he was a very good man.

Gandhi was certainly not obedient at all and he was an amazingly good man.

Finally Jesus was not obedient to the Pharisees or Sadducees (who were the leaders in their day) and I think that most people would consider the actions written about in the bible to be good.

So no not always if sometimes you have to be disobedient to be good

Yes and no. If one has a healthy relationship with their creator, in terms of the analogy of a vine, we will bear good fruit, or we will be obedient, among other things. People can, however, be good people, but not have a relationship with God at all, and therefore can not be obedient to someone they have no commitment to.

Yes, if one is being obedient to that which one thinks is good. That's the whole concept of morality, isn't it?

No, I don't think so ... not always. "Obedient" has such a harsh tone to me, it makes this hard for me to answer.

Therefore good can not be completely about obeying. Its just a state of doing good actions.
