I have a really big to function attend, but I have put on a few extra pounds over the past couple of months and now my gown doesn't quite fit. I was 20 lbs lighter when I purchased it and I need to be that weight again. What do I do? Or is it even possible?

No, not possible. Don't kid yourself, loosing weight is harder than gaining it, and you said how long it took you gain 20 lbs? Well, it will take at least twice as long to get rid of it and only if you stick to an exercise regimen and a diet plan.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

That is to short of time to lose 20 pounds! Your body needs stability and quick gains and loses really throw your body off. Say you did lose 20 pounds in less than 2 months by some drastic measure your body would be left very confused. Quick weight loss also leads to quick weight gain!!! Your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to every little calorie of everything you eat. The best way to lose weight is to make slow small changes and increase your exercise. Try to make the switch to low fat dairy products, realize when your full, eat a lot of whole wheat products, and cut down on your fats.

Nothing extreme will ever work when it comes to losing weight, you have to take it slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2 months I've lost 36 pound and I haven't stoped eating. I eat all I want. I lost all this weight by consumind flaxseed. It comes in a bag silver bag and u can get it at any Mexican or latin american store. It oly costs 11 dollars and all u have to do is mix two spoon fulls in ur favorite drink two times a day 15 minutes before a meal. It does not only help u loose weight bu it also lower cholesterol, and prevent cancer and diabetes.

Actually, if by starving yourself you are referring to skipping meals, that is one of the worst things to do. When you skip meals your body goes into fat storage mode and your metabolism slows down. Instead, what you should do is exercise a lot and eat more fiber.
Still, 20 lbs. is a lot in roughly 2 &1/2 months time. Good luck.

Whenever I cut out carbs and stick with meat, eggs, cheese, veggies and fruit, I lose weight fast. Basically, like the Atkins or South Beach Diet. But I have lost 170 pounds so I would venture to say it works!

I have a before and after pic if you dont believe me.

Eat a 1000 calories everyday. Drink water as your liquid.
