i have a friend who lied all the time but hung out with me. well i tired to ask her about certain lies and she would get mad and not talk to me. so i met one of her friends and i wanted to know why she lied all the time. i know that he friend is going to go back and tell her but every time i tried to tell her she got mad.
i asked her friend what the truth is and i asked her friend why she is saying one thing and saying another. i couldnt figure out why her friend was her friend since her friend was honest and normal. so anyway, do you think it was wrong to turn to her friend. i met this girl on myspace she actually met me. i think it was a good idea becasue this girl was so dishonest and insincere she said we were totoal opposites but yet she hangs out with me.

just leave her and the situation alone. a lier will never tell the truth. How can you call someone like this a friend.

Depends on her age. Probably just wants attention or loosen the atmosphere.
If she is lying constantly and crying about it when people know the truth, its probably because she has been gettign away with it when she was younger (what psychologists call a fixation).
Let her know that she can trust you and your (presumably still good) thoughts of her does not change even if she lies and she should stop lying to you. You can do this by taking everything she says as the truth, but secretly not buying everything of it (don't let anyone know though).

I used to know a girl who told untruths all the time....... I think it was to just make her life more interesting, I used to just roll my eyes when she was lying about her dads porshe etc
But she was great fun to go out with and you laughed all night long so I just took the good with the bad
Just accept her for what she is........she probably does not even know why she does it, as for her mate saying something it might be a worry you may never have to deal with if she does not speak to you again

learn a lesson and go with your gut instinct ,don't trust friend of a friend,if your friendship was sincere you would not need to, see yourself as what you are if your not happy get rid, friendship needn't be questioned.hope this helps.ps sorry for asking but if you are under 21 i suggest you go ,if you can and be honest,open and,truth full with a parent..they have you and only your interests at heart.good luck.

How is this girls home life? Chronic lying is often a sign of child abuse. But yeah, you're not obligated to keep her as a friend.

I've been friends with a pathological liar before. Just recognize when she's lying and keep it to yourself because she probably can't help it.
